A MUSICAL PRAYER FROM THE FOREST • NETHERLANDS 

We are deeply honored and excited to share a very special musical offering together during our Europe Tour.Matsini Yawanawa & Nyrah, joined by our dear friend and incredibly talented musician Mauricio Lobão, will come together to weave a living musical prayer inspired by the forest, ancestral traditions, and the hidden worlds of the soul.Matsini Yawanawa carries the living medicine of his people through the sacred Saitis, traditional Yawanawa chants, ancestral prayers, and teachings passed down through his lineage.

He began walking within the traditions of the Yawanawa people at the age of 13, learning through close relationship with his elders and the living forest.Nyrah is a Brazilian musician, sound healer, and holistic therapist with more than 25 years of experience with music and the voice. Her work is deeply inspired by the natural world, ancestral wisdom, sacred plants, and the transformative power of sound. Through her original medicine music, she explores the inner landscapes of the soul, weaving voice, breath, nature, and personal experience into songs that invite connection and remembrance.Having lived and worked together in Ushunawa Yawanawa Village in the Brazilian Amazon, Matsini and Nyrah have shared a journey of learning, cultural exchange, music, and service.

Their work brings together two different but complementary musical expressions while honoring the living indigenous tradition with respect and reciprocity. For this special evening, we will share a unique meeting between Yawanawa Saitis and Nyrah’s original medicine music, creating a space where ancestral songs and contemporary expressions inspired by the forest can meet.A prayer through music.
